At a very young age, Randy was given the gift of music. He started playing piano when he was around 5 yrs old, taking lessons for several years. At around the age of 9 he switched over to guitar. Knowing what he knew from piano, it was easy for him to learn guitar. Randy started singing at age 12 and played his first "gig". He sang two songs at the Rutland Vermont, state fair in front of 20,000 people. Throughout school Randy sang in chorus, performed at school functions, and was in his first band at age 14 traveling extensively throughout the US.

 

In 1983 he enlisted in the US Air Force and served for 9 years. During that time Randy continued to play music. Playing the Officers Club at Torrejon AB in Spain, and touring several military bases in Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Greece.

After his time in the military, Randy moved to Florida and played with the band "Due South" opening for several national acts, including Brad Paisley, Chad Brock, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many others.

 

In 2002 he became a believer in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Attending Cornerstone Church in St Cloud, Fl. he started playing on the praise and worship team which started his journey playing Christian Music.

 

Over the next 19 years of growing in his faith, Randy has ministered at multiple churches and currently serves as the worship leader at Heart of David church, in Eureka, NC. 

 

Joining NorthBound Worship band in August of 2022 as lead guitarist. He is looking forward to seeing what God has planned for this ministry.
