Rodger started playing guitar at 5 years old, at age 12 he started playing bass in his dad’s country band.

There he discovered his love for the bass guitar. After his dad retired form music he played in several bands from country to heavy metal. Traveled for some time on the road opening up for acts like CDB, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. 

After giving his life to the Lord he just lost the love for that lifestyle and kind of music.

At this time his Grandson was playing in the youth band at church and he started to help them and fell in love with the music. He and his grandson started a Christian Rock band. That is when God opened the door for him to play with North Bound. Their love of God and the will to spread God’s message has filled his heart, they are family now.
